Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

Remove the lug nuts. |

Remove the wheel and tire assembly. |
- Remove the stabilizer bar link.
- Remove the nut and the pinch bolt.
- Separate the front suspension lower ball joint from the front knuckle.
- Remove the front suspension lower arm pivot bolt.
- Remove the front suspension lower arm bolts and remove the lower arm.
Installation
- NOTE: New fasteners must be used when old fasteners are loosened and/or removed.
NOTE: Do not tighten the bolt in this step.
To install, mount suspension lower arm at the front and rear bushings.
- NOTE: Apply Threadlock 262 E2FZ-19544-B or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSK-M2G351-A6 to the ball joint nut and pinch bolt threads.
Install the suspension lower arm and the pinch bolt and nut.
- NOTE: Use High Lift Trans Jack to raise the suspension lower arm so that it is parallel with the ground.
Install the front suspension lower arm bolts in the sequence indicated.
- Tighten the front suspension lower arm pivot bolt.
- Install the stabilizer bar link.
- Tighten the front stabilizer bar link nuts so that 17 - 19 mm (0.67 - 0.75 inch) of thread is exposed.
- Install the wheel and tire assembly.

Install the lug nuts and lower the vehicle. |

Tighten the lug nuts. |
