Drum Brake System Components
The rear drum brake uses a pedal actuated rear wheel cylinder to move the rear brake shoes and linings against the brake drum. After initial setting, rear drum brake adjustment is maintained through periodic parking brake operation. For initial setting, refer to Brake Shoe Adjustment.
